Join your Zoom appointment at your scheduled start time. You have a 5-minute grace period — if you join within 5 minutes of your start time, your inspector can still complete the inspection.
After 5 minutes, there isn't enough time left in the appointment to complete the vehicle inspection, so a new appointment is required and a new inspection fee will apply.
For Verida inspections, the hold placed on your card at booking is charged, and a new hold is placed when you book your new appointment. See "How do Verida inspections work?" for details.
If your inspector also hadn't joined by the time you arrived, contact support instead of rebooking. We review the Zoom session for your appointment to see what happened before any decision about a new appointment or charge.
To avoid this, click your Zoom link at your scheduled time and turn on audio and video so you're ready when your inspector joins.
If you joined on time and are waiting, stay in the Zoom room. A short wait is normal, and the grace period applies to how late you join — not to how long your inspector takes to start.
