What happens if I miss my appointment?

If you didn't join your inspection appointment, it isn't eligible for a refund or a free reschedule — the time was reserved specifically for you.

To complete your inspection, you'll need to book a new appointment, and a new inspection fee will apply.

Joining late is not the same as missing your appointment. There is a 5-minute grace period from your scheduled start time — see "How late can I join my appointment?"

For Verida inspections, the hold placed on your card at booking is charged, and a new hold is placed when you book your new appointment. See "How do Verida inspections work?" for details.

This is also different from an appointment that didn't go ahead on our side. If your inspector never joined, or your Zoom call dropped during the inspection, don't book a new appointment — contact support instead of rebooking. We review the Zoom session for your appointment to see what happened before any decision about a new appointment or charge.
