If your inspection failed, here is what happens next. The inspector will explain exactly which item(s) failed and what to correct. To pass, fix the failed point(s) and return to re-inspect within 72 hours — only the failed points are re-checked, not the whole vehicle. If more than 72 hours have passed, a full re-inspection appointment is required.
There is no additional charge to re-inspect within 72 hours — you are not charged again for the re-inspection.
If the 72-hour window has passed, a full inspection is required and is charged as a new inspection, with your payment collected when you book.
