How long does a refund take to process?

A refund takes 7–10 business days to process.

If you're eligible for a refund on your Lyft or Turo appointment — you prepay when you book, and can cancel for a full refund at least 3 hours before your appointment — refunds are returned to your original payment method within 7–10 business days.

Verida appointments work differently. No payment is taken when you book, so there's nothing to refund. If a cancellation fee was charged, it isn't refundable. See "How do Verida inspections work?"

Waiting for a $40 hold to disappear is not the same as a refund. A hold is released rather than refunded, and depending on your bank it can take up to 7 business days to drop off your statement.
