Yes — Rideshare Mechanic and Bright Inspect are the same company. Rideshare Mechanic is rebranding to Bright Inspect, and you'll receive the same virtual vehicle inspections from the same team. During the transition, inspections are booked through two platforms: Bright Inspect (currently for participating Lyft, Verida and Turo inspections) and Rideshare Mechanic (for Uber, UZURV, and other platforms). Because the platforms are still separate for now, payment, rescheduling, and cancellation rules can differ depending on which one you booked through.
